“There is a light in you which cannot die; whose presence is so holy that the world is sanctified because of you. All things that live bring gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet. The scent of flowers is their gift to you. The waves bow down before you, and the trees extend their arms to shield you from the heat, and lay their leaves before you on the ground that you may walk in softness, while the wind sinks to a whisper round your holy head.” ~ A Course in Miracles
What if you knew that the words of the above quotation from “A Course of Miracles” were absolutely true, in your heart of hearts? What if you really believed that the Universe adores you and everyone and everything is here to support you in some way? How would you live your life differently? Continue Reading »

When most of us reflect upon Angels, we conjure up pictures in our minds of beautiful mystical beings with opulent wings and golden haloes. We may recall various childhood memories of stories told of Angels and what they represent from the various religions we studied, or schools we attended.
But for me, Angels were always so much more than that. They were an ongoing part of my everyday world.
I am sure that if you look at your own life and the people in it, you will find Angels everywhere. The problem is, that most of the time, we just take it all for granted. We go about our day often lost in thought, oblivious to the world all around us, unaware of the miracles that abound and the countless Angels who grace our path.
It is my sincere desire that today, you OPEN YOUR EYES to not only SEE the Angels in your own life, but to be an Angel for someone else. And, It is my profound hope that just for today, you can rise above your mere mortal existence and walk among the gods.
Enjoy the poem and have an angelic day.

Like the little old lady, who returned your wallet yesterday.
Like the taxi driver, who told you that your eyes light up the world, when you smile.
Like the small child, who showed you the wonder in simple things.
Like the poor man, who offered to share his lunch with you.
Like the rich man, who showed you it really is all possible, if only you believe.
Like the stranger, who just happened to come along, when you had lost your way.
Like the friend, who touched your heart, when you didn’t think you had one left to touch.
Angels come in all sizes and shapes. All ages and skin types.
Some with freckles, some with dimples, some with wrinkles, some without.
They come disguised as friends, enemies, teachers, students, lovers and fools.
They don’t take life too seriously. They travel light.
They leave no forwarding address. They ask for nothing in return.
They wear sneakers with gossamer wings. They get a deal on dry cleaning.
They are hard to find, when your eyes are closed.
But they are everywhere you look, when you CHOOSE TO SEE.

The concept of Agelessness has always both fascinated and perplexed me. I have known people who joyfully, never seemed to age and I have know those who, very sadly, grew old long before their time. And so, in an interview I conducted with Dr. Deepak Chopra, I asked him the following question about Agelessness. What he answered has stayed with me always and served me very well. I hope it does the same for you.
Here is my question: Dr. Chopra, you have stated that if we could effectively trigger the intention not to age, the body would carry it out automatically. Could you explain that? Continue Reading »

Let me start at the beginning. Several years ago, I experienced a very traumatic, personal life crisis that lasted for several months. Throughout all of it, I kept telling myself that when it was over, everything would be ok again, and things would go back to normal. They never did!
At that time, I felt a deep emptiness inside. There was a hollow place there now, a place that I could no longer fill with the superficial trappings of my life. There was a longing, a deep heartfelt longing to know more, to be more, to do more, and that longing started me on a search, a search for answers to questions I didn’t even know existed yet. It was to be a long journey, sometimes confusing, sometimes isolated, but always life affirming. There were many times when I didn’t think I had the strength in me to go on any longer, and just as many times when I knew I would never be able to give up. Continue Reading »

After studying the Law of Attraction for quite some time, I really began to notice those times in my life when I wanted something, (consciously just thought about it in my mind) and how quickly it appeared, in the most amazing ways, at just the right time, for just the right price. Often it was something I had completely forgetten about, but the Universe had not. Every desire is a request, whether we are aware of it or not and will be answered as long as we don’t have any resistance to it.
The following story is a perfect example of that. Enjoy!
What You Are Wanting Is Wanting You! Continue Reading »

I have some questions for you this morning.
How do you see the world? Do you see the glass as half full or half empty?
Do you complain and focus on what you don’t have instead of what you do have?
Do you take secret enjoyment in someone else’s failure or embarrassment?
Do you judge others? Do you see yourself as a victim? (Don’t worry - we have all been there at one time or another.)
Do you use the words SHOULD and CAN’T a lot, as in “I should do this” and “I can’t afford it.”
Are you resentful of another’s success or do you celebrate it?
Do you look for the worst or the best in people?
Do you see the world as a safe place full of people who are happy to support you? Or do you see the world as fearful, a place where you always have to be on guard, in case someone might steal from you, lie to you or hurt you in some way?
In other words, what do you believe about the world and focus on for the majority of your day?

A friend called me recently to tell me that one of her daughter’s teachers had committed suicide. Needless to say, everyone involved was extremely upset by this.
Many looked upon this as a selfish act on the part of the teacher. I thought to myself how quick we are to judge another, after the fact. How terribly slow we are to recognize the walking wounded all around us.
The news of this teacher’s suicide reminded me of a story I read about an elderly woman who had decided to take her life one morning, but someone had stopped to feed the pigeons with her in the park, and the kindness of that one stranger changed her mind and saved her life. We can never know what is in another person’s heart, or how much pain they be experiencing. And for some people, the pain may be so great, that living no longer seems an option for them. Dear Friends
We are living in extraordinary times! All over the world people are gathering together, meeting in groups, in person and also in teleclasses and webcasts to experience something more, an awakening.
The Oprah Winfrey / Eckhart Tolle webcast is an unprecedented event,
a shining example of just how powerful these kinds of gatherings can be.
And it is just the beginning.
I have been taking part in many such events for the last several years and from my experience I have found that when these meetings are preceded by some kind of centering process, it helps the participants to transition from what may be a very busy and hectic day, into a very peaceful and sacred space, a place where miracles can and do happen. I woke up this morning feeling sad and thinking of all the things I had to do today and how I needed about 10 more hours in the day in order to get it all done.
With this kind of thinking, to tell you the truth, I did not even want to get out of bed. Overwhelm does that to you. It is paralyzing.
So, I decided to have a small chat with myself. What if, I just made the decision to take it easy today? As usual, I have been working long hours and trying to do too much. It just wears me down after a while. But, what if today, I made the choice of ease. Continue Reading »

I received the following question from one of my subscribers recently and I am posting my reply in the event that my answer may serve others who read it.
Veronica: Would you please help me understand the concept by Eckhart Tolle of “how to be a witness to our thoughts and actions”. I have read about this several times in his book, “The Power of Now” but things are still somewhat fuzzy. Thank you. Annie
